This Land Is Your Land (Chic-Mich-ND)

This Land „Door County“ liegt im Osten von Wisconsin, und bildet eine Halbinsel im Lake Michigan. Will man in Door County an den Strand gehen, so stellt man schnell fest, dass es immer wieder privaten Strandbesitz gibt und baden – vor allem hinter Häusern, die unmittelbar am Strand errichtet wurden – nicht möglich ist. Da kommt einem der bekannte Song von Woody Guthrie in den Sinn: This Land Is Your Land:

From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream Waters

In der vierten Strophe heißt es dann:
